Zaxbys franchisees with experience in other QSR brands enhance their portfolio's performance.
We currently require an initial franchise fee of $35,000, which is due in full at the time your franchise agreement is executed. The estimated initial investment range to open a Zaxbys restaurant is $1,445,000 to $3,810,500 (see Franchise Disclosure Document issued April 25, 2025).

As a franchisor, we can’t predict or guarantee any financial results. With that being said, if you’re interested in learning more about how our current franchises are performing, you’re welcome to review our past financial performance in item 19 of our FDD. You’ll also have the opportunity to chat with current franchisees about their experience and financial performance during the due diligence process.
We don’t offer financing either directly or indirectly for any portion of your initial investment.
Our real estate team will help you identify the best site for your Zaxbys. If you’d like to propose a site, you’re welcome to do that as well.

Our franchise process starts with communication. Simply fill out our convenient online form, and a member of our franchising team will be in touch with you shortly to discuss your opportunity as a Zaxbys franchise owner.
If we both agree to move forward after our first call, you’ll be invited to submit an official inquiry, including your preferred geographical areas and your prospective franchisee application.
For this next step, a member (or members) of our franchise development team will visit with you in your market of interest.
After your Market Visit, our team will meet to determine whether or not we are a good fit for one another. If we choose to move forward, you will begin the process to officially become part of the Zaxbys brand!
Now the fun can begin! As a Zaxbys franchise owner, you’ll be expected to operate your restaurant according to our systems and procedures.
There’s a lot of work to be done during the pre-opening process. Before your restaurant opens, you’ll complete our training program, meet with your New Store Development Consultant, hire your team, and get ready for your grand opening.
